Lesson Term
Lessons run by term so students can settle into a regular routine and make steady progress. The 2026 12 week winter/spring term begins the week of February 9, 2026 and runs through the week of May 4, 2026, excluding the week of March 9, 2026. Signing up for the 12 week term means your weekly lesson time is reserved just for you.
Cancellations & Missed Lessons
Life happens — understood!
If you need to cancel a lesson, please let your instructor know as soon as you can.
Lessons cancelled with 24 hours’ notice may be eligible for a make-up, subject to availability.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be missed, but all efforts will be made to try to be fair.
For late lesson arrivals, the lesson will still finish at the usual time so as not to impact timing for the following student.
Make-Up Lessons
Make-up lessons are offered where possible and depend on availability. Kindly consult your instructor.
Make-ups are best used within the same term. However, timing situations arise and so, your instructor likely can further address.
Should there be an unavailable opportunity to reschedule, the lesson may unfortunately need to be missed.
Instructor Cancellations
MMC instructors are extraordinary industry performing professionals. And so, from time to time the need may arise for a lesson cancellation due to a scheduled professional performance. Should an event as such arise, a make-up or credit will certainly be discussed and determined.
Illness & Unexpected Situations
Should you or your child become suddenly unwell, or some unexpected event comes up, kindly let your instructor know at your earliest convenience. All efforts will be made to find solutions to the situation. Thank you for your prompt communication and kind consideration.
Discontinuing Lessons
Should you decide not to continue lessons, for any reason, please give your instructor notice at your earliest convenience, if possible. Term fees are generally non-refundable once lessons have started, however, MMC remains open to a conversation should circumstances change.
